In 2012 The Department of Health released the "Supervision and Delegation Framework for Allied Health Assistants (AHAs)". The Supervision and delegation framework for allied health assistants (the framework) was developed to provide information and guidance to both Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and AHAs to enhance the utilisation and development of the AHA role as well as supporting AHPs to be
able to confidently delegate tasks and supervise AHAs.
